Dahukas are a class of servitors of Lord Jagannatha who sing lewd songs and call out (dākibā) to the people to pull the chariots during Ratha Jatra. This makes for an interesting link.

Those songs have a link with Sahajayana. I believe we can trace back the esoteric language and the apparent crudity to Charyapadas.
